Despite the pretty light winter (and some frigid days), I'm feeling very grateful that spring is right around the corner! 🌸🌸🌸 This month wasn't super eventful, but I still managed to do some exploring, dine at new restaurants and read a few books. Take a look below to read more! 💕
TO EAT 🍽 🍹
The Bao: Located at 13 St Marks Pl, New York, NY 10003
You guys, this is one of my favorite spots in Manhattan. My husband and I went for a date night, ordered drinks, (lots of) dumplings, scallion pancakes and spicy tofu and the bill was under $150. If you're not from around here, you're probably thinking that's still a lot of $$ for a date night but I'm telling you, the food was phenomenal and it's in a fun area (around NYU).
Oscar Wilde: Located at 45 W 27th St, New York, NY 10001
A friend brought me here for the first time and I can't believe I just found out about it. The place will catch you by surprise when you walk in with the high ceilings and (the multiple) bar setups. It has a vintage English charm to it and the drinks are really fun.
Rosemary's East: Located at 350 1st Ave., New York, NY 10010
This is a newer location and it's just as nice as the West Village location. I went for brunch and the farm-to-table cuisine is always yummy and fresh.
Tacombi (UES): Located at 202 E 70th St, New York, NY 10021
This is one of my favorite Mexican places in Manhattan. There's multiple locations and they recently opened one up on the Upper East Side (yay for me). The cuisine is authentic, the ambiance is low-key and the price is super affordable. It's a great place to go with a group since everything is a la carte and everyone can individually mark what they want.
